BITSoftware is merging by absorption with Sinoptix and Entersoft Romania, the local subsidiary of Entersoft Greece. With more than 90 employees and an extensive portfolio of business software solutions spanning almost all sectors, it has become one of the most significant business software providers in Romania. It celebrates its 30th anniversary since its establishment. A team of nearly 100 people now works in the BITSoftware offices in Brașov and Bucharest. Over 350 clients from almost every industry now utilize its solutions.

Release the SocrateRM application, the complete solution for resource and project management.
BITSoftware becomes part of the Entersoft Greece group.
Release the SAF-T, e-Transport and e-Invoicing reporting services

The SocrateService application is being launched, a mobile solution for service representatives, and the SocrateCloud platform is being expanded with new functionalities for the Service area.

SocrateCloud is expanding its functionalities and specializing in distribution, logistics, and agriculture.
The growing demand for warehouse software leads to the development and launch of WiData and FluxVisionWMS – the first Warehouse Management System (WMS) application on a cloud infrastructure, developed on the SocrateCloud platform in partnership with Wisoft Professional Services, a part of BITSoftware.

BPWise is launched – a financial planning, analysis, and consolidation solution for large companies. The first successful implementation occurs in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, giving rise to a new Business Intelligence (BI) division dedicated to the development and implementation of BI solutions within multinational companies.

SocrateCloud is undergoing componentization, transforming into a business platform in the cloud. On one hand, it caters to companies seeking enhanced business management by leveraging existing functionalities (ERP, CRM, BI, Asset Management, Payroll). On the other hand, it serves partners for rapid development of web applications, mobile applications, and integrations, utilizing the infrastructure, processes, and existing workflows within Socrate.

SocrateOpen is rewritten with a multi-tenant architecture, featuring a new web interface, and is relaunched under the brand SocrateCloud - now 100% available in public or private cloud environments.

BITSoftware becomes a partner of MicroStrategy, a global leader in Business Intelligence solutions.
SocrateBI is being launched – a next-generation Business Intelligence solution developed on the MicroStrategy platform.

BITSoftware becomes an Authorized Partner of Compiere.
SocrateOpen is being launched - the first integrated open-source ERP/CRM system in Romania.
Joins the Oracle Partner Network, attaining Oracle Gold Partner status.
Expands the client portfolio, initiating the implementation of SocrateOpen in companies across Romania. Over 100 clients from various industries join the BITSoftware community.

BITSoftware is one of the first companies in Romania to provide a software application (CC Assistant) in SaaS mode.
The Socrate Payroll solution is launched after a year of development, with the first implementations at major clients in Romania. Oil Terminal is the first company to use the payroll solution.
The initial implementations in the retail sector include supermarket chains and integrations with POS systems for intensive retail.

The embryo of the BI division is born and the first implementations of Business Intelligence projects begin, using Microsoft Analysis Services technology.

BITSoftware performs the first data replications using Microsoft technology for retail chains or distributor chain branches in the FMCG sector. The first chain of 40 stores is computerized with SocrateERP, with significant retail networks expected to join the Socrate ecosystem in the following years.

BITSoftware and Profuse Holding begin the development of the CRM system for IT services (CCAssistant).
A new office is opened in Bucharest, and new colleagues join the young and enthusiastic team.

BITSoftware becomes a Microsoft Certified Partner.
SocrateERP is launched on the Romanian market.
The first client, Transilana, a wool combing mill in Brașov, acquires SocrateERP for the management of the entire company.

We began the development of the integrated Socrate system, one of the first integrated management software systems in Romania (ERP), and we grew alongside the first clients who believed in us. We then implemented the Socrate solution in dozens retail, distribution, manufacturing and services companies. We have always sought to improve ourselves, continuously developing and growing—people, products, and services.

Remus Cazacu, passionate about technology, IT, and economics, establishes the company BITSoftware to assist Romanian companies in digitizing their processes. The first office is set up in an apartment building, where three colleagues start working on the initial version of the Socrate system.
